Privacy:

A state that the user details are available but the web activity is under seized.

Web activity : unknown

Anonimity:

A state at web activity is visible but the user is limelighted. Third parties can't see the user details.

Web Activity: known

Example: 1. If your going in-to a house. Others can see you while going to the house but they can' t know what are you inside. It is called Privacy.
2. You are doing plantation in garden with wearing a mask for your face. Now others can see that you are doing some work (plantation) but they are not able to see your face. i.e, here you are hiding your identity. It is known as Anonymity.

Now the question is... 

How to maintain privacy and anonymity in internet world?

    Being a anonymous in internet is such a little bit complex than these examples. But somehow we are provided some privacy by our internet providers, local networkers and third parties also. Privacy is also about the requests you are sending to servers are encrypted or not. Lot more websites are all protected by HTTPS, SSL, TCP protocols to stay secured. 
Stay Privacy :
  • Submit passwords through only Secured websites.
  • Maintain strong passwords
  • Check the website designs, if there is any change in the designs or in logos try to avoid that site for few hours.
  • Check the count of refercne links in that site frequently.
  • If you find a website mismatched with your request you have been hacked i.e, someone is in spying your web request. 
To maintain Anonymity we have to specific browsers like TOR, Duckduckgo, mozila etcc... VPN also gives you anonimity by changing your IP and location details. TOR allows your request to go through different nodes over internet. DuckDuckgo provides some more privacy that cant store your web history, location history and lot more..

As my experience consults staying protected, privacy and anonymous over today's internet world is not so easy as i mentioned in this article. 

But being anonymous and privacy is most important now-a-days.
